Frank Pepito is a life-long comic book fan - a “DC guy”. He also grew up performing that revered of Saturday morning rituals, watching The Bugs Bunny/Road Runner Hour and SuperFriends. Years later, he entered a McDonald’s restaurant and bought four Happy Meal™ toys. They were Super Bugs, Bat-Duck, Wonder Pig and Taz-Flash...the Super Looney Tunes. His life was pretty complete after that. But nagged by the desire to routinely be in debt, he went on to earn his Bachelor of Arts degree in Graphic Communication from San Diego State University. By this time, he’d seen every episode of Star Wars (the original trilogy). A product designer, toy designer, graphic designer and illustrator, he has designed a number of Looney Tunes novelty gift items for Applause, Inc..; two Star Wars kid’s meal toy programs, for Taco Bell, KFC & Pizza Hut; and props & graphics for Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and other DC Comics collectible figures and statues for Sideshow Collectibles.
Frank was born in Santa Maria, California, not far from Pismo Beach, and currently lives and works in Harbor City, California. But from his Instagram (@gone2disneyland) posts, you’d swear he lives at Disneyland, at Big Thunder Mountain, inside the bat cave.
